Jan Cassalette is a serial entrepreneur and a participant in the previous edition of StartupLeap. He is currently in the stage of validation of his new idea ParcelP.
In this interview he will tell you why he decided to become entrepreneur and what he likes most about it.
Why did you decide to become a founder?
I was a founder before and loved to work for my own project. When I sold my company in 2015 and worked as an employee since, I started missing being an entrepreneur.
What surprised you the most about being a startup founder?
The most surprising thing was that you are not alone out there. There are networks such as StartupLeap. They are here to help and develop your idea in highly professionalized manner. There is so much to learn in such a short period of time – that’s so much fun!
What’s the coolest thing about being a founder?
The coolest thing about being a founder is to be able to continuously think about your idea and improve it. Going to work with a smile. Even though at the moment I work from home.
What’s the worst thing about being a founder?
The worst aspect is that sometimes things take long time, while you want them to be finished immediately.
If you can go back in time, what would you do differently?
Taking a more structured approach in validating my idea instead of trial and error.
